

The girl behind "Elements of the Heart" is Melissa Hernandez. I started planning weddings and events for family and friends more than 15 years ago and decided to make wedding/event planning my "business". I thoroughly enjoy what I do.
I want you to feel comfortable with me and my assistants and confident in our ability to plan and organize the wedding/event you've been dreaming of.
We're here to facilitate ideas into reality, give guidance, direction and support. Attention to detail is always the driving force behind Elements of the Heart - it begins with our ability to listen to every client. Our job is to make your wedding a reflection of you, to make it as easy and stress-free as possible with a great deal of professionalism and personal care. When it's all said and done, we are only happy if you are happy and you will be happy if it's the wedding/event of YOUR dreams.

A little bit more about me...
I was born and raised in Fresno, CA with my mom, dad and three wonderful sisters and now live in San Diego, CA with my fiance and two beautiful children (ages 18 and 2) and a handsome step-son (age 12).
I currently work at non-profit organization as an Executive Assistant where I help plan cultural and art learning events from small to large and get to work with the community residents, various artists and cultural groups along with cultural entertainers. I love what I do because helping to make a difference in the community has great rewards when you see the smile on faces that never thought a change could be made where they live. I support three directors, two managers, and four programs and their sub-programs.
Always up for a challenge, I love the excitement of pulling together all of the little details that go into planning your dream wedding/event. In my 'spare' time I enjoy hanging out with my family.
